Revolutionary Modern Wheelchair Lifts That Are Safe and Compliant
All public buildings, whether an office space or shopping centre, must provide equal access for people from all walks of life, while wheelchair users or their relatives will also want to allow freedom of movement in the home.
A wheelchair lift is an ideal solution, and it’s often a better alternative than a stairlift, which may require the user to be assisted when using it. Wheelchair lifts no longer have to be bulky installations that take up a lot of room and look unsightly and sterile. Thanks to continued innovations in technology and a wide range of customisation options, the wheelchair lifts we install at Only Lifts can be fitted in just days, are environmentally friendly, and are light and airy, with multiple lighting and colour options available. Some also don’t require a separate lift shaft or plant room, making them easy to install in buildings low on space.
Before buying a wheelchair lift, it’s advisable to have an assessment carried out to ensure it is suitable for your needs and available space. Our Disabled Living Foundation-trained Trusted Assessor can come to your premises and recommend the best solution for you.

Only Lifts has been installing wheelchair lifts and improving our customers’ quality of life for over 30 years. For our team, no job is too much trouble! Here’s what some of them have to say.
“The job is done to the highest standards”
We have used Only Lifts Ltd for a number of years. Gary has serviced our stairlift until it was no longer required. Highly recommend them for a friendly, efficient service. We have engaged Only Lifts Ltd for several years to look after some of our specialist lifts. During that time, we have found them to be reliable and conscientious. Keen to provide exactly what we need, they have innovated to overcome particular technical issues unique to the college. Faced with a challenge they never give up until the job is done to the highest standards. Our last installation provided by Only Lifts required sensitive integration to the aesthetics of the building. They achieved this receiving praise from the end users and the College in general. I am therefore very happy to recommend Only Lifts based on my own experiences.

Wheelchair Lift Installation Services in Southeast England
Whether you’re considering a wheelchair lift for your home or for a commercial application, Only Lifts offers a variety of versatile lifts to make your space wheelchair-friendly.
Many of the wheelchair lifts we install operate on a simple yet powerful screw drive system, which is inherently safe and particularly suited to limited spaces.
Wheelchair lifts of this type include the Aritco and Miesian lift ranges. The Miesian is as suitable for installation in private homes as it is in commercial environments and public buildings, with its use of glass and contemporary housing offering wheelchair access in style.
Another innovative contender in the wheelchair lift space is the CantiLift™ aka Panova cantilever lift. This wheelchair lift is manufactured in the UK and was designed by a former aeronautical engineer. When at rest, it is completely flush with the lower landing floor, allowing the surrounding floor covering to be inlaid with carpet tiles, vinyl, wood or even stone or marble for a superior look. Once a wheelchair is positioned on the platform, safety barriers rise at each side to prevent the user from rolling over the edge. The lift is then propelled gently by its ingenious hydraulic design, but the real magic happens when the platform clears the floor service, where the platform starts to curve up and over the stairs to reach the upper landing point. The security barriers then lower to allow the user to exit the platform. The CantiLift™ aka Panova lift is especially appropriate for listed buildings where it’s vital to avoid damage, as the underside of the platform never comes into contact with the stairs.
As each CantiLift™ aka Panova is handmade to order, no two are the same, guaranteeing you a completely unique wheelchair lift.
