Motala 2000

The Motala 2000 is a quiet, space-efficient platform lift built with Motala Hissar’s reliable guided chain drive. Unlike traditional screw-driven platform lifts, the chain drive is designed to avoid wear and runs smoothly with very low maintenance, as it doesn’t require oil lubrication. With a rated load of up to 500kg and travel up to 15 metres, it’s a practical solution for improving accessibility in public buildings and refurbishments.

The Motala 2000 is available in compact shaft sizes (including 1150, 1250 or 1350mm widths) and can be fitted with doors on up to three sides, helping it work in tight building layouts. It also includes a frequency converter for soft start and stop, low power consumption, and only needs single-phase 230–240V with a 10A fuse. Installation is quick and typically takes only a couple of days, with optional full glazing for a modern look.

Motala 2000 Home

The Motala 2000 Home is a compact, stylish platform lift designed specifically for private homes, using the same silent guided chain drive technology that Motala Hissar has used successfully since 1995. Because the chain system creates minimal wear and needs no oil lubrication, it stays clean and requires very little servicing over time. With a maximum rated load of 500kg and travel up to 15 metres, it’s a strong and reliable choice for everyday home access.

The lift is built to take up as little space as possible, with shaft sizes including 1150, 1250 or 1350 x 950mm, and it can be installed with doors on up to three sides. A built-in frequency converter provides smooth, controlled start/stop while keeping energy use low, and it runs on single-phase 230–240V with a 10A fuse. The Motala 2000 Home typically takes around two days to install, and it’s constructed from inside the shaft, meaning no external scaffolding is needed. Optional glazing can also be added for extra light and style.
